Characteristics of Laser Marking machine Marked On Plastic

Laser marking machine can be applied in metallic and non-metallic products. But generally, it will use CO2 laser marking machine or UV laser marking machine to mark Plastic surface. It will use laser marking machine to mark numbers, text, trademarks or machine code. It can reach high information density, with different size arranged in close spatial data matrix code.

There are two characteristics by using CO2 laser marking machine & UV laser marking machine to mark plastic materials:

1. Precision marking. With diode pumped laser, and high energy efficiency, CO2 laser marking machine same as other laser marking machine, have good ability to focus its beam. That is quite suitable for high precision marking. CO2 laser marking machine has high beam quality, which get very small making point. So CO2 laser marking machine can realize precision marking.

2. Absorption adaptation. UV laser marking machine generates infrared wavelength range. There is little heat when Short wavelength directly contact with plastic products, thus no material damage will be happened when using UV laser marking machine to mark plastic products.
